art: E’lari, Seiahn & Tara

Decided to buckle down and sketch out my original characters for the first time in a few months.
E’lari has a regal and aloof air that I think comes across nicely. She has a piercing in her left nostril. I’ve added the scarf that she uses to cover her head.
Seiahn’s look has been really hard to pin down, but I think I will stick with this version of his features. His hair used to be just wavy, but now it’s a curlier texture.
Tara pretty much looks the same. I’ve given her a thinner frame, much like Zoe Saldana.

Wow, your illustrations are very good! I stumbled upon your blog when I was looking for some TBBT fan art as I am quite a big fan of the show too :) Surfed through the gallery as well, I really like the style of your drawings.

Oh, and also forgot to add that your style reminds me a bit of Ilon Wikland, the illustrator of my favourite childhood books by Astrid Lindgren.

Thank you so much. I’ve never heard of Ilon Wikland, so I immediately looked her up on Google. I really should remedy my ignorance of famous illustrators. ;) It’s an amazing compliment that you feel my work resembles hers. :)
