Wow. . . It's been nearly a year since I updated last. Honestly, I haven't done much art at all this year. I've either been unmotivated or just lazy. I have taken a tremendous amount of photos, though, as evidenced in flickr account. I've done a few sketches here and there, and had some ideas for stuff, but nothing, major, sadly. I'm the worst artist ever.

I do, however, have some creative ideas that I really want to go into production in the upcoming year, so, I'll keep posted on my progress.

A new year and no new site design, though I do plan on updating it. I've recently changed servers for the first time in about 4 years, so some of the links may not work. I'm in the process of fixing everything and cleaning up the site content.

I've been doing more photography than drawing lately, so check out my flickr photostream if you're curious.

Seems like 2 months is time enough between updates. I won't say it'll be soon, but I want to update the design of my page a bit, and I also want to reorganize a few of the galleries. I've been taking many photos since I got my new camera (Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi). So, I've been delving deeper in the realm of digital photography.



I've been trying to draw regularly. It definitely helps to have someone to inspire and drive your creativity, and I've had that lately, so, Yay.

My parents' 26th wedding anniversay. Yay for commitment.

• I'll be going to New York at the end of this month for a week. I need funds so if there are any commissions that can be completed in that time, I'm open to it. Just email me with what you have in mind.

Ok, so I've gotten most things up. Theres new art in the following galleries:

If you've been following my deviantART page at all, you've probably already seen most of this stuff. Also, feel free to check out my blog if you're interested in my daily goings-on. I try to update it on a pretty regular basis. If you'll notice, I've changed the domain name to something that I think is simpler than the previous blog URL. It's now http://blog.artgyrl.com. See, easy. So, remember to update your bookmarks, if the need be.

I still have a few more things to add, like a page dedicated to photos of my friends, family, and random stuff. I also have to set up the color gallery again. It got deleted somehow, so I had to go back and find all the images. I also just remembered that I need to relink the guestbook as well. Sheesh.
